  • Kuldeep Dubey walks out on Sayantani! Watch Comedy Circus 2

    MUMBAI: Comedy Circus 2 is surely not only about laughing & making others laugh. In the coming Saturday‘s episode all is not well between the pretty naginn Sayantani & her stand up comedian partner Kuldeep Dubey. Both are good artists, great performers & talented actors. Their pair got the best marks from the judges and a standing ovation in the last week‘s episode.

    But in spite of all of this there was trouble in paradise! Creative differences crept up in between the performers and it reached such an ugly climax with Kuldeep simply walking out of the show?leaving Sayantani standing alone. A hurried search for him on the sets, at home, proved futile. Kuldeep just decided to vanish from the show and from the clutches of all and sundry.

    The format of the show is celebrities performing with stand up artists. Will Sayantani be allowed to perform all by herself? The floor is open to the other contestants to voice their opinion. Should she or should she not? Sayanatani‘s popularity had all her co-contestants wanting her to perform?but the judges had other plans. There‘s a twist to the episode?

  • MiD DAY wins Global INMA Awards

    MUMBAI: India‘s leading afternooner MiD DAY has won the prestigious Global INMA (International Newspaper Marketing Association) Award in the Category of Print Advertising, Sales and Retention. MiD DAY has also been awarded the second place in two additional categories where it was nominated. The awards were in a category for newspapers with a circulation of 75,000 - 3,00,000 copies. The win is particularly significant as INMA had received entries from 39 countries. Neville Bastawalla, Head, Marketing MiD DAY Multimedia received the awards on behalf of the newspaper at a glittering ceremony held at The Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

    Category 5: Print Advertising Sales and Retention awards marketing activities used to support the sales or retention of display advertising in the core print newspaper, for example, advertiser reward programmes, special advertiser events, etc. MiD DAY‘s very successful "Media Nights at Hard Rock Caf?, a promotion that encouraged media networking and fraternizing won the INMA for this category. Every Wednesday, media folk are invited to get discounted drinks and starters at the popular club and enjoy an evening out. The Media Nights were inspired by MiD DAY‘s mission of Making Work Fun for their YUMPI audience (Young Urban Mobile Professionals of India).

    MiD DAY was also awarded second place at the INMA Awards for Category 9: New Marketing Services which recognizes campaigns that add distinctive value to advertising clients. This win was specifically for MiD DAY‘s innovative Impact Covers that invited the reader to truly engage with the content of the advertisers‘ message. The impact cover innovations for Saawariya the movie, that used very aesthetic gateway paper, taking the level of impact and impression to a new level, and an integrated campaign across the paper for Ford Endeavour that saw the car zooming through the back page of the paper, seeming to tear through the centrefold, and crash out of the front page were recognized here.

    MiD DAY was also awarded second place at the INMA Awards for Category 10: Public Relations and Community Service, for MiD DAY‘s campaign "Smoking Causes Blindness" that created awareness for a cause that is of great concern to MiD DAY‘s audience of urban professionals.

  • BIG 92.7 FM, Surat celebrates Mothers Day

    MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM, India‘s No. 1 FM Station, in its continual effort to contribute positively to the society, and impact listeners lives positively, celebrated Mother‘s Day with a difference. The Station hosted an event, where its RJs, along with select listeners visited the Mahajan Orphan house with loads of gifts and compassion for the kids. The team involved the orphans in various fun sharing activities and ensured that they felt loved and cared for. "We cannot replace what a mother is for a child, but we sure did manage to bring smiles to the faces of the little kids, which was fulfilling", said BIG FM RJ Setu, who hosts the breakfast show, ‘BIG CHAI‘ from 7 am to 11 am.

    Besides spending time with the kids, BIG 92.7 FM also organized various contests on air from May 10-13, 08, which saw winners getting invited to the studio of BIG FM, where they were given an opportunity to speak with their mothers on air and share special messages with them. The activity saw some special moments on air, which made the day special for those mothers. What more, BIG RJ‘s delivered gifts to winners‘ mothers on their special day while the mothers spoke to their kids, from the BIG FM studio!

  • Kids Gaming Championship and Workshops - Only at Mega Mall

    MUMBAI: With the long summer vacations on, what does one do with the kids when you‘re not traveling. Well to change the mood and make afternoons fun, Mega Mall, Oshiwara has planned "Kids Gaming War" and a series of workshops for kids where Learning, Fun and Food are a part of the prescribed staple diet.

    MUMBAI: The verdict is out? India has voted JASPINDER NARULA as the Captain of the Dhoom Team! Jaspinder overcame stiff competition from the other 10 singing superstars to walk away with the title and the love and adoration of the nation. Rani Mukherji presented the title to the winner of Idea Dhoom Macha De at the finale ceremony which was telecast LIVE on NDTV Imagine, this evening.

    The exciting Grand Finale saw the final duel between Richa Sharma, Devang Patel and Jaspinder Narula. In this special ‘Live‘ episode, viewers from across the country voted for their favourite singing superstar and crowned Jaspinder as the ‘Captain of the Dhoom Team‘. She left the entire nation spellbound with her matchless performance and garnered the maximum number of viewers‘ votes to win this coveted title.
