MUMBAI: SRS Group intends to invest Rs 500 million as it plans to add 22 screens this year.

SRS has just launched its first ever multiplex in Bijnor under the brand name of SRS Cinemas. The Group currently has nine multiplexes around the country with 23 screens and a total seating capacity of 7,694.

Spread across approximately 20,000 sq. ft. area, the new multiplex has two screens with a capacity of 458 seats. Films to be screened at SRS Cinemas in the inaugural week are Sadiyan, Shaapit and Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?

Says SRS Group chairman and managing director Anil Jindal, "Remaining true to our focus on Uttar Pradesh, we are extremely happy to extend the reach of our most vibrant brand, SRS Cinemas, to the residents of Bijnor."
