MUMBAI: Cbeebies has refreshed its ‘Bedtime Hour‘ with Waybuloo joining the night lineup. The new schedule will telecast Waybuloo at 6 pm, In the Night Garden at 6.20 pm and Bedtime Story at 6.50 pm.
Launched in May, Waybuloo takes viewers on a journey to Nara, the land of piplings. The show explores spontaneous routes to happiness through warmth, friendship, co-operation and citizenship.
Launched in March 2007, In The Night Garden revolves around the adventures of Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and their friends. The show is telecast in more than 33 countries.
Broadcast daily since the launch of Cbeebies in 2002, Bedtime Story is a blend of adventure, traditional tales, classic stories and contemporary fiction for the under-sixes.
Cbeebies controller Michael Carrington said, "Waybuloo‘s gentle spirit and positive emotional philosophy makes it the perfect partner to In The Night Garden‘s storybook feel as our young viewers wind down at the end of the day. Followed by the perennial favourite Bedtime Story, we hope that the new refreshed Bedtime schedule will help our viewers get in the mood for bed."
