MUMBAI: After organizing the grand and overwhelming BIG Ugadi Music Awards and BIG Telugu Television Awards last year, AP?s No.1 Tollywood station and Reliance Broadcast Network?s radio arm 92.7 BIG FM, in its continuing endeavor to offer wholesome entertainment in the regional space is all set to rock Tollywood this Ugadi. Celebrating Ugadi in grandeur , 92.7 BIG FM in association with Cocoraj, a product from the house of Raj Oil Mills today announced the ?BIG Telugu Movie Awards?, AP?s first-ever people?s choice movie awards. The event held at BIG Cinemas saw representation from various film and music personalities. With the promise of ?Mee Movies, Mee Istham?, this festive season will see people of Andhra Pradesh tastes not just six flavours of ugadi pachadi but get a special treat to vote for their choice of six flavours of movies under six different categories- Love, Family, Action, Comedy, Social and Entertainment.
Marking the launch of voting for the BIG Telugu Movie Awards, renowned Director Tamma Reddy Bharadwaj, Popular Music Director Koti, actress Madhurima, Singers Hemachandra and Sunitha followed by Music Director Srilekha casted their votes for their choice of movies. Starting today, a specially fabricated voting bus will be touted all over Hyderabad, Vizag and Tirupathi, people will be encouraged to vote for their favorite movies, they can also vote for their choice by sending SMS to 55454 or tune-in to 92.7 BIG FM to vote and get the latest update on which actor has voted to which movie, actor?s choices, movie casts promoting their movies and lots of excitement around 18 BIG Films of 2010.
BIG Telugu Movie Awards conceptualized and marketed by BIG Live, the experiential marketing arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited will see all media verticals of the company coming into play, to promote this property. The property will be amplified across radio 92.7 BIG FM, out of home - BIG Street, digital - BIG Digital and experiential marketing - BIG Live, honouring individuals from the Telugu Film industry who have significantly contributed to take the Telugu cinema to greater heights. The awards plans to ensure maximum reach through multiple touch points by roping in a number of partners including ETV- exclusive television partner and BIG Cinemas- exclusive multiplex partner.
The grand award function scheduled to be held at Shilpkala Vedika on 25th March, 2011 will see the coming together of bigwigs from the Telugu film industry who will not only charm the audiences with their charisma and aura but will also put the stage on fire with their dazzling performances. The night will see many more thrilling performances and acts by various artists from the film industry.
