MUMBAI: B4U Network‘s Diwali event, which took place at Trafalgar Square on Sunday 16 October, has been hailed a major success with over 30,000 people in attendance.

The annual celebration, now in its sixth year, began at 4 p.m with message of prayer and peace followed by music and dance
performances.

Amidst a sea of floating lanterns and spectacular light displays in glorious weather, Diwali on the Square, attracted people from every race and colour as they thronged the square in large numbers.

After some memorable dance performances by Local community groups like Saraswati Dance academy, BrahmaKumaris, Sanskar group, and a host of others there were speeches made by major community leaders mentioning the significance of Diwali.

The highlight of the evening was the performances by indomitable Hunterz and the sensational Raghav who entertained the crowds with some of their hit tracks.

While stalls at both ends of the square attracted crowds, it was the B4U stall which was filled to the capacity as they not only gave away loads of goodies but also the chance for people to wish their near and dear ones a Happy Diwali as the network filmed the entire event.

The success of the event is another feather in the cap for B4U Network who will be sponsoring ‘aap ka suroor‘- the talented Himesh Reshamiya‘s first concert in Britain.

"We are delighted with the response to what is arguably the biggest Annual Diwali event in London. At B4U Network, we are committed to sponsoring major events since it also gives us a chance to interact with millions of our viewers," stated B4U Network CEO Sunil Rohra.
