MUMBAI: ET NOW the 24 hr English business news channel conducted an exclusive wealth management workshop, ‘BUY NOW SELL NOW‘, in Mumbai. The workshop was moderated by ET NOW‘s Senior Editor Nikunj Dalmia and anchor of BUY NOW SELL NOW show, Devina Menon. The session was presided by Mr. Nirmal Jain, Chairman, IIFL and Mr. Lalit Thakkar, MD - Institution, Angel Broking.

The workshop enlightened the participants with market trading strategies, sector specific trading calls and stock tips. It also contributed in enhancing the participant‘s knowledge on market related anecdotes and trade analysis.
Mr. Nirmal Jain gave an insight into the recent consumption trends, recent capex trends and the rise in infrastructure activities as the government is now focusing on better projects. He also spoke on stocks to watch out for in Large Caps and Mid-Cap firms.

Mr. Lalit Thakkar touched upon the Alfa stocks and what separates Alfa stocks from the rest. He gave a brief on the winner stocks since Dec 2007, some of them being Asian Paints (up 155%), Hero Honda (up 148%), Infosys (up 63%), TCS (up 61%) and Vardhaman Textiles (up 91%). He also mentioned about outperformers and underperformers since Dec 2007.

Participants also got an opportunity to interact with Nirmal Jain and Lalit Thakkar and got their market related queries answered.
