MUMBAI: STAR Network welcomes new members to their Parivaar- the all new 2010 Intel ? CoreTM Processor Family! Owing to a strategic tie up, STAR Network will promote Intel‘s ? new Parivaar of processors through a number of innovative brand integrations.

It is a well known fact that the iconic characters created by the Star Network are popularly known to be a part of the STAR Parivaar (Family). These characters have grown to become popular household figures. In recognition of this fact, Intel? South Asia decided it was most apt to launch their latest, high technology ‘Parivaar‘ of computer processing chips with the members of the biggest and most popular family in Indian television today - the Star Parivaar - and thus welcome the arrival of the all New Core? Family.

By virtue of the association, Intel‘s newest processors will be promoted with the help of elements such as L-bands, Aston Bands and transition bumpers. Besides, the network has created special vignettes for the brand with the popular characters of STAR Plus which will run several times across STAR Plus, STAR One, STAR Gold, STAR News and STAR Utsav. Star Plus has also carefully crafted in-show integrations where popular characters will plug into their dialogues ‘Tez hi Nahi, Smart Bhi‘ which is the promise of Intel(R) Core? Processor Family.

Commenting on the association with Intel, Kevin Vaz, President Sales, Star India says, "STAR stands for innovation and creativity in everything related to the broadcast business - be it programming, marketing or advertising. We give our clients full opportunity for branding. We continue to be innovators and partners for our advertisers and have done some deals in the past which have been the talk of the town. Our aim is to make the STAR Network THE platform for all our clients‘ promotional activities."

Prakash Bagri, Director, Marketing, Intel South Asia adds "Star Network is popularly known as "Parivaar" (Family). The actors from the Star Parivaar have created waves in every household and directly connect with the audiences watching them. We saw an intrinsic fit of the recent launch of our all New 2010 Core Processor Family which consists of smarter and faster processors being celebrated by Star Parivaar. We are very happy with our association with Star Network to create excitement around our Intel Core Processor Family in a contextual manner.
