MUMBAI: This Saturday night, don?t forget to make reservations for a stimulating movie experience in your living room! Zee Studio brings you the latest Woody Allen flick Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Less than a month after its theatrical release in India, the film has woven its way to your TV sets.
?Vicky Cristina ?? follows two girlfriends on a summer holiday in Spain who get enamored by a charming Spanish painter, unaware that his ex-wife, with whom he has a tempestuous relationship, is about to re-enter the picture. Bearing the unmistakable Woody Allen style of questioning age-old traditions of love and matrimony, the film explores the unique dynamics of a triangular relationship that ensues when one of the girlfriends moves in with the painter and his ex-wife.
Starring actors Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Javier Bardem and Rebecca Hall, the film released in the United States last year to a grand opening and was well-received by critics. It also fetched Penelope Cruz the Oscar award for Best Supporting Actress.
