• Kartavya Healtheon seeking expansion in Disease Management at Dubai and South Africa

Submitted by ITV Production on May 22, 2013

MUMBAI : Kartavya Healtheon, a leading pioneer in ?patient care management? across the country will soon roll out their chronic disease management services in evolving countries like Dubai and South Africa. The company is also seeking expansion to streamline the benefits of DM services in these countries by enhancing their presence in assisting patients of chronic diseases. They will also provide patient care support programs like counseling, diet and nutrition, disease awareness and medication adherence into disease management hubs.

In addition to this Kartavya Healtheon is eyeing to enlarge their Disease Management portfolio by providing preventive and self-managed care to patients. This will grow the company?s margin and the needs of primary health care in these countries. Kartavya Healtheon?s CEO Mr. Vikram Srivastava said, ?We felt a need as we received many queries that made us to think about it. We see a great potential in these countries as Disease management is gradually picking up pace. We have aimed to make this sector more organized by targeting Africa and middle east. In order to control the viral spread of the chronic illnesses, we at Kartavya Healtheon will soon introduce the concept of self-controlled patient management through subscription based model. In India, by next 1 year we will come out with various programmes for chronic disease which would significantly reduce the healthcare burden cost on patients and provide better outcome of the treatment / therapy"

Chronic diseases like Cancer, hepatitis B, HIV and diabetes are increasing rapidly across the country. Also, there is a continuous gap in chronic care and lifestyle condition awareness, screening and behavioural modification. We are doing this because access to information and disease awareness is very low and healthcare cost is rising day by day.

Mumbai, May 21, 2013: When technology meets creativity, the result is a whole lot of fun. This was precisely what happened in Ogilvy Mumbai last week. A whole lot of fun!

While everyone is talking about going digital, Ogilvy Mumbai has taken a big step forward in this direction. Thanks to an Ogilvy & Google India initiative, Ogilvy Mumbai witnessed some of the coolest digital innovations by Google.

Abhijit Avasthi, National Creative Director, O&M India: From a creativity point of view, the digital era is perhaps the most exciting time to be living in. If you can imagine it, it is possible. We are fortunate to collaborate with Google. We hope to have a lot of fun & to jointly come up with some awesome work for our clients.

The office was transformed into a Mini Digital Zone where Google showcased some of their tech capabilities and gave Ogilvy employees a sneak peek into the world of Google.

Motion sensors to welcome employees, a salad cart that allowed employees to toss up their own salad using an app, augmented reality based games, a hangout zone with a virtual Ping Pong table and lots of goodies to die for?.the games went on, the options went on?..there were Google activities creating excitement across the office.

Navin Talreja, President O&M Mumbai & Kolkata: As an agency we have always believed that the best way to do something new is to actually do it. We could not have found a better collaborator than Google in our endeavor to be creative pioneers in the digital era. We are positive that our people as well as our clients will see great benefit in this coming together of creativity and technology. Watch this space!

John Merrifield (Chief Creative Officer of the ZOO APAC team, Google): Doing something that?s never been done before is one of the most effective ways to grab a larger share of the future. The month long programme Where Tigers Rulewill enlighten viewers about tigers? behaviour, predatory skills, family life and issues related to illegal poaching. Filmed in breathtaking landscapes located in India?s magnificent forests, grasslands and protect reserves, including Madhya Pradesh?s Bandhavgarh National Park, Rajasthan?s Ranthambore National Park, and West Bengal?s Sunderbans, Where Tigers Ruleprovides an intimate look into the mysterious world of the tiger.

    Some of the Episodes Included:

India - Kingdom of the tiger
The film is a historical epic depicting India from 1910 to the modern era. The episode follows in the footsteps of Jim Corbett, the famed English hunter-naturalist, as he races to save an Indian village from the terror of a man-eating tiger. Along his journey he expresses his passion for tigers and explores the issues of tiger conservation. The dramatization stars critically acclaimed Indian actress Smriti Mishra and Christopher Heyerdahi.

    Broken Tail
Broken Tail is the name of the most flamboyant tiger cub Colin Stafford-Johnson had seen during many years spent filming India?s wild tigers. After leaving his sanctuary and going on the run, Broken Tail survived for almost a year where many said it was impossible, in the unprotected badlands of rural Rajasthan. Tracking Broken Tail?s extraordinary journey, Colin and his soundman, Salim, piece together the cub?s final days and, through Broken Tail?s story, uncover stark truths about India?s last wild tigers.

    Living with Tigers
Tigers are rapidly vanishing from the wild. In fact, there are already more tigers in captivity than there are in their natural environment. At the current rate, experts fear they could all be wiped out within a decade. Thankfully, a dynamic and ambitious program has been developed to reintroduce captive tigers into the wild. Naturalist and filmmaker John Varty and zoologist David Salmoni are the ultimate friends of these beautiful animals. LIVING WITH TIGERS will let audiences in on their grand and noble scheme - to take two sibling Bengal tigers from Cincinnati Zoo - Ron and Julie - and teach them how to fend for themselves.
