    MUMBAI: In ongoing efforts to support charities dedicated to fostering socio-economic development around the world, ZEE Americas sponsored the American India Foundation‘s 6th Annual New York Young Professionals Gala this April. Each year, AIF raises awareness and funds for one major cause, ranging from neo-natal health and education to healthcare for HIV positive women and children. This year‘s nominated program was MANSI (Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative), which aims to lower the infant mortality rate and lessen childbirth complications for women in rural areas of India who have limited access to proper medical facilities and practitioners.
