  • UTV Movies adds to the festival with Diwali Unlimited

    MUMBAI: This Diwali UTV Movies sets the small screen on fire with "Diwali Unlimited". The channel brings in the festive fervor with a special package of starstudded blockbusters promising a treat of action, thrill, fantasy, magic and romance to all its viewers.

    The special line up starts from 10th October and will go on till 27th October at 9:00 pm only on UTV Movies.

    Diwali celebrations begin with Jab We Met followed by bollywood blockbusters like My Name Is Khan, Ghajini, Wake Up Sid, I Hate Luv Storys, Tere Bin Laden, London Dreams and many more. XXXX will be supported by an on air and extensive outdoor campaign comprising of hoardings, bus panels and ambient branding in multiplexes & malls.

  • MOVIES NOW captures the spirit of victory over evil with a spate of Hollywood films this Dusshera

    Mumbai: Come October the festivities begin; starting with Dusshera which is celebrated to commemorate the triumph of good over evil! With the spirit of the festival in mind, MOVIES NOW has put together a line-up of blockbuster Hollywood films as a celebration of right over wrong; good over evil and are sure to leave you in an inspirational frame of mind! On 6th October, MOVIES NOW has handpicked the best of movies and will be showcasing them back to back, from 9 am - 7 pm, to celebrate Dusshera.

    Start your day with the intriguing story of a local sheriff whose son goes missing, and he once again stirs up the calm waters of Lake Placid in search of his son in Lake Placid - 2. Join the sheriff in his quest to save not only his son but the whole town from wrath of the vicious creature plaguing Lake Placid on MOVIES NOW.

    Enter the world of mutants as after Lake Placid - 2 follows X-Men! The mega-hit series by Marvel Comics comes to life as super heroes who possess powers strong enough to destroy all fight out with each other in the quest for supremacy. Tune in at 11:45am to catch the nail biting war where each one is equally matched; but as history dictates goodwill always survive the evil to emerge victorious!

    Following this action-adventure, MOVIES NOW brings the fantasy-adventure film, Eragon. This epic movie, based on the best-selling novel, centers around a young man named Eragon whose destiny is revealed with the help of a dragon.     Mumbai: Vodafone Essar, one of India?s leading telecommunications service providers and Sony Music jointly announced an innovative new offering for the die-hard enthusiasts of International Music. Through this initiative, Vodafone is offering its customers a chance to win exciting prizes everyday by subscribing to a Sony Music International caller tune and answering simple questions through SMS. This initiative is a nationwide contest and will run till 26th October, 2011.

    To participate in the competition, Vodafone customers have to set any song from SONY music?s deep catalogue of International songs as their Caller tune by calling 12377 (Toll free).On successful download, the subscribers will be eligible to participate and will have to answer a series of questions via SMS on 54345 (toll free). The participating subscribers can win by answering questions correctly in shortest time frame to win daily, weekly and bumper prizes. Three selected grand prize winners will be awarded LED TV each, 6 weekly winners will be awarded an iPad2 each while 45 daily winners will be awarded with iPod Touch.
