    Mumbai: Despite the turbulence in the current markets, ET NOW, has once again proven its top notch competency in helping its viewers make the right trade call, by attaining the leadership status amongst the business news genre.

    As per the latest Television Audience Measurement data, ET NOW leads the English Business News Channel with 42% market share in All India 1Mn+ Market amongst the core audience from CS AB Males 25+ Yrs, in Week 39 (18 September, 2011 to 24 September, 2011). ET NOW also leads in the 6 Metro & 8 Metro Markets with a market share of 43% & 46% respectively.

    ET NOW continues to maintain its market leadership in the commercial capital of the country (Mumbai) with 78% market share in the current week which is more than thrice that of the market share of rest of all English Business News Channels put together. Also if the channel?s performance is measured with respect to the average market shares over the last 4-Weeks, 8-Weeks & 13-Weeks; ET NOW leads in all the three parameters with market shares of 62%, 60% and 58% respectively amongst the core audience from CS AB Males 25+ Yrs.

  • Micromax MTV Unplugged Premiers 1st October

    Mumbai: MTV, India?s favourite youth brand announced the premiere of its new show ?Micromax MTV UNPLUGGED? at a musical extravaganza organised today at Blue Frog in Mumbai. Eminent singers like Rekha Bhardwaj, Javed Ali, Rabbi Shergill, Mohit Chauhan, Shilpa Rao, eclectic Advaita and Ranjit Barot enthralled the audience with live acoustic music giving everyone present ?a feel? of the show. The ?UNPLUGGED? evening also included an exclusive sneak peek into the show. An unrivalled listening experience - ?Micromax MTV Unplugged? will premiere in India on 1st October 2011, Saturday @8 p.m. exclusively on MTV.

    The eclectic ensemble of artist performing at Blue Frog captivated audiences with their brilliant musical renditions as the latter were treated to songs like Durga and Gates of Dawn by Advaita, Ganga Naha Le and Guncha by Mohit Chauhan, Dhol Yara Dhol and Nain Parindey by Shilpa Rao, Guzaarish and Bandish by Javed Ali, Madaniyan and Tere Ishq Mein by Rekha Bharadwaj, Heer and Bilkis by Rabbi Shergill, ending the evening with Zindagi and Maula by Ranjit Barot, all in an unplugged and acoustic format.

  • ?Keymon Ache? reaches a record breaking 1.9 Million mobile downloads

    Mumbai: Keymon Ache, India?s first non-mythological contemporary animated show on Nickelodeon India, has achieved a record-breaking number of 1.9 million mobile game downloads. Nickelodeon has created new waves especially in the digital and mobile space by launching various games and engaging kids and youth. These games were designed keeping in mind the Gen-Y and getting them hooked on to these games. The Keymon mobile games like, ?Keymon goes fishing?, ?Dance Master Keymon?, ?Keymon on Scooter?, etc. were deployed across various mobile operators, Nokia?s official application store ?Ovi?, ?GetJar? to name a few.

    Keymon Ache was launched digitally through its microsite www.keymon.in that offered Keymon games, wallpapers, videos and other downloads along with introducing Keymon on the Nickelodeon Facebook fan page. With these activations, the show Keymon Ache created few highlights and ground-breaking numbers that have made the show popular amongst the young audience. The microsite received over 50,000 visitors in just about 4 months since the launch of the
    show,

    On mobile too the numbers have been very encouraging. The first ever mobile game from Nickelodeon has become the hot favourite game with the kids by charting on the Top 10 most downloaded game globally on Nokia OVi. The games ?Keymon on Scooter? and ?Dance Master Keymon? have received 1,40,732 and 47,110 number of download on Nokia OVi respectively. If these numbers aren?t enough, Keymon Ache has received record-breaking number of 1.7 million downloads through the single game - ?Keymon
    goes Fishing?!

  • UTV Movies presents the World Premiere of Havai Dada

    Mumbai : UTV Movies brings you the World Premiere of Havai Dada produced by Karolbagh Films & Entertainment Pvt Ltd, featuring the multifaceted actors Anupam Kher and Tanuja. This is the first time that a film will be directly released on the channel. Viewers can experience this enjoyable yet emotional journey of Havai Dada through the World Premiere on UTV Movies on 25th September at 4pm.

    Havai Dada is directed by Ajay Kartik whose previous film Karamati Coat was granted a laudable mention at the International Children?s Film Festival held at Frankfurt. Set in a small village of India, Havai Dada revolves around the loving relationship between a grandfather (played by Anupam Kher) and his granddaughter. He has never traveled by an airplane and it?s his granddaughter who tries to fulfill his childhood dream. The movie deals with the circumstances and situations the little girl faces to fulfill Havai Dada?s wish which in turn becomes her dream. Oscar award winner Resul Pookutty has lent his expertise as the sound designer for the film.
