  • DISNEY XD PRESENTS A SUPER SOLID SUMMER WITH TWO ACTION PACKED SHOWS: BUZZ LIGHTYEAR OF STAR COMMAND AND KID VS KAT SEASON 2

    MUMBAI: Disney XD, the multi-platform entertainment offering from the Disney network of Television Channels, is all set to bring fun and excitement to you with new episodes of Kid vs Kat and an all-new hero, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command as a part of our Super Solid Summer!

    To kick off the summer fun, Buzz Lightyear will fly to your television screen all the way from outer space on 4th April 2011 at 4.30pm [Monday to Friday]. The show takes you inside the great big beautiful world of tomorrow where members of the elite Universe Protection Unit patrol the vastness of space in their cool retro rocket ships, keeping the peace among a fantastic array of alien cultures. United under the benevolent Galactic Alliance, this is a place where Buzz Lightyear really can fly. But alas, there is a dark shadow looming over this happy future - the Evil Emperor Zurg, enemy of honesty and justice who is bent on overthrowing the Alliance. Yet time and again, in one action-packed episode after another, Zurg is foiled by our heroes.

    Keeping pace with the excitement, Coop and Dennis are back on 11th April 2011 from Monday to Friday at 6pm for another thrilling season of foiling Kat?s ingenious evil plans! Catch the all the fast paced action as Coop and his best friend Dennis continue to battle the evil space alien kat with a vengeance and try to expose his evil doings to the world. With felines like these, who needs enemies?     Buzz Lightyear, named after the second man to land on the moon, Edwin ?Buzz? Aldrin made his debut in the first Toy Story movie where he saves cowboy Woody from peril several times and escapes a mean, toy destroying boy. Buzz is known for his bravery and courage to travel ?To infinity and beyond?! Just like Buzz, Coop and Dennis are also chock-full of courage. Our young heroes are always ready to face danger, whether it?s fighting space aliens or escaping Old Lady Munson.

  • Hungama Tv presents 'Thundamental Summer' with an exceptional programming line-up this vacation

    MUMBAI: Kid?s favorite channel for all things fun and humorous Hungama TV is all set to serve the perfect recipe to get you thunda this summer! The channel will bring the coolest ?Thundamental? summer in line with its spirit of unbridled fun characteristic of childhood. Apart from new episodes of all time favorites shows ? Doraemon and Shinchan, two new shows ?Osomatsukun? and ?Chor Police? will help viewers cool off in the summer heat.

    This summer Hungama TV?s Shinchan will also be seen making his theatrical debut this summer with his big screen movie ?Bungle in Jungle? set to hit theatres across India on April 1st, 2011. In addition, Hungama TV will also premiere the movie on 15th of May.

    Kids will also get to witness the comical misadventures of ?Osomatsukun? every weekend at 6 pm (Monday to Friday) all through summer. Osomatsukun is the oldest of a bunch of incredibly mischievous siblings. All six of them have exactly the same face, the same hairstyle and the same outfits! To add to the fun, they even talk alike!

    Based on the popular kids? game of the same name, Chor Police, to premiere on 10th April, 9.30 am (Every Sunday) is bound to be a favorite with the kids given the resonance of this concept with every Indian kid.   • India-Pakistan semi-final shows peak advertising recall in the World Cup; IPL set for even higher buzz levels: Ormax Media

    MUMBAI: According to Ormax Media?s syndicated study on ICC World Cup Day After Cricket (DAC), the average number of brands recalled at an unaided level increased from 2.7 in Week 1 to 3.1 in the last week, peaking at 3.3 brands in the India-Pak semi-final.

    The World Cup buzz increased as India performed well, especially in the latter half of the tournament.

    Speaking on the same, Ormax Media CEO & Co-founder Shailesh Kapoor says: "The peak brand recall in the World Cup was 3.3. However, the average recall during IPL3 was 4.4 brands, peaking at upto 7 brands on the weekend. The key difference between the two events is that IPL doesn‘t have any major ICC regulations, and hence, has a lot more in-match innovations, like Karbonn Kamaal Catches, Maxx Mobile Strategic Time Out, DLF Maximum etc. This creates higher recall and buzz for these brands. Hence, it can be argued that IPL has more to offer to the advertiser per rating point, than the World Cup."

    Day After Cricket is an industry-wide syndicated study that measures the advertising effectiveness on cricket ? World Cup 2011 & IPL 4. The track for the study is being conducted daily during the event, among 7000 respondents across 6 cities - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. The TG for the study is 15-34 year olds, Males and Females, SEC AB.

    The daily and weekly reports focus on TOM recall, Unaided Recall, Ad Likeability and Innovation Association Recall. The mid and end-tournament reports will focus on macro understanding and analysis of cricket advertising.

    GlobeCast?s solution for BBC Worldwide includes ingest and workflow set up, secure storage, subtitling, graphics, encoding, encryption and delivery of BBC Worldwide?s Polish language versions of BBC Knowledge in high definition, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle and CBeebies, via the Hot Bird satellite. This satellite allows BBC Worldwide to have access to several major television bouquets in Poland.   • Chairman of Maa Group, Bunty Peerbhoy honoured at PRCI Chanakya Awards 2011

    MUMBAI: Reflective of years of dedication, creativity and high-quality work, Mr. Bunty Peerbhoy, Chairman of The MAA Group - one of the pioneers of integrated communications in the country - today was honoured with the PRCI Chanakya "K. R. Singh Memorial Award for life time achievement" in the field of Advertising and Public Relations.

    Mr. Peerbhoy was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Sri. Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Minister for Education Punjab Government. The Award was presented in the presence of Mr. M. B. Jayaram, Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) and Mr. Mathew Hibberd of Sterling University of Scotland and other dignitaries at a function held in Chandigarh earlier this month.

    "I am honoured to receive this award which is a tribute to all my employees as well.
