MUMBAI: "The greatest year for EDM, India has ever seen": that?s what Sunburn is promising for the upcomingSeason 7 in 2013-14. Post a massive season ending in March this year with a stellar Tiesto India tour, the Sunburn team has revealed phase 1 of the season calendar upto December with more events already planned up to March 2014. This is the first time the India EDM giants have revealed a calendar getting dance music fans geared up for a massive season.
The big calendar announcement begins with a massive arena event in September and a second in December, followed by atwo day festival in Bangalore and a revisit to Mumbai and Delhi in October & November. Sunburn Goa will continue to attract dance music fans from all over the world on its signature dates of 27,28 & 29 December.The Sunburn team claims to have some more surprises up their sleeve which they will announce in the second phase.
This is not all, the season not only promises a range of high capacity events but an elaborate mix of new artists including many A listers, the best talent from India, some exciting collaborations and some never seen before names. The mix of artists will also showcase various niche genres of the evolving EDM scene like Dubstep, Electro, Trap and Hardstyle amongst other popular genres. Last season, Sunburn brought out an A-list cast of dance music?s biggest names like Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren,Afrojack and Fedde le Grand and some cult names like Pete Tong& Paul Van Dykto India.
Another thing to look forward to this year will be a completely redefined sunburn experience from the web to the on ground experience for all music lovers. The brand has empanelled some of the best artists and technology from across the globe to ensure a unique experience for every person attending these events. "The fans have continued to support the music and brand unconditionally, It?s time to raise the game and give the fans in India a fresh and redefined experience" says the Sunburn inceptor Shailendra Singh.
What calendar dates have been announced?
- Sunburn Arena : September 21-22
- Sunburn Delhi NCR : October 6
- Sunburn Mumbai : November 15-16
- Sunburn Bangalore : November 16-17
- Sunburn Arena : December 6-8
- Sunburn Goa : December 27-29
When do tickets go on sale?
Besides Sunburn Goa, tickets for all events will go on sale 60 days prior to the event date. Sunburn Goa tickets will go on sale sometime in August.
What is the artist line up for each event?
First phase of Artist line up for Sunburn Goa will be announced in September and second phase in November.
All other events will have the artist lineup announced 30-40 days prior to the event
