MUMBAI: Hungama Digital Media, South Asia?s premier digital agency, has launched the redesigned website for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 (XIX CWG 2010). The website http://www.cwgdelhi2010.org/ is a one stop digital destination for all information for the forthcoming world event. Hungama will be designing and executing a comprehensive digital campaign for the event, and manage their digital presence through social networking sites.

The Commonwealth Games 2010 will witness participation from 71 countries across the world. The primary aim for revamping the website is to provide the participating nations and spectators with a single interaction point. The website has been redesigned with effective navigation points so that visitors can find what they are looking for as easily as possible. Elaborating on the design revamp the official spokesperson of Hungama Digital Media said, ?We are delighted to partner with the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 which is a very prestigious event for India. Considering the large number of countries participating in the event, we are expecting people to have a variety of queries ranging from venue details, ticket bookings, code of conduct etc. To highlight and facilitate key information in the most effective and seamless manner, we have revamped the website and have also launched an extensive social media program for the XIX CWG 2010?

The new website was launched on the 19th of August 2010. The Google Analytics report states that the traffic on the website has gone up by almost 30% from the time Hungama took charge. The design is uncluttered and simple to navigate, with a few applications that will be made live in the next 2 weeks. Hungama is also undertaking an aggressive social networking plan for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010.

Hungama has also paid extremely careful attention to the architecture for sever security, as the site has been running on open platforms, which are not only secure but also cost effective; these open platforms are also being used by big players such as NASA and Facebook.

Some of the key features of the upcoming website include:

- Visitors can visit the website for information on event schedule, ticket bookings, best ways to travel to the venue and lodging & boarding options in New Delhi

- The website will also host the participation details for a Volunteer Program

- Visitors can also check the website for latest updates on the event by viewing a host of videos, photographs and information on latest happenings
