    MUMBAI: Sahara Samay has roped in Punya Prasun Bajpai as editor-in-chief. He was earlier the executive editor of Aaj Tak.

    Confirming his move Bajpai says, "I have put in the papers at Aaj Tak and will be joining Sahara Samay on 1 September."

    Following Bajpai is Aaj Tak anchor and deputy editor Sanjay Bragta and crime bureau chief Nazim Naqvi who have joined Sahara Samay as executive producers.

    Beefing up its editorial team, Sahara Samay has also roped in former Star News political editor Ajay Singh as an executive producer. Meanwhile, NDTV India?s NP Singh has come on board Sahara Samay as senior executive producer.

    Earlier, Aaj Tak executive editor and Mumbai bureau chief Shishir Joshi had quit to join Mid Day Multimedia as group directorial editor. Aaj Tak also lost Ram Kripal and Rahul Kulshetra to Triveni Group. While Kripal joined as group editor for their upcoming news channels, Kulshetra will head technical operations.
