MUMBAI: Zee Studio has donned a new prime time block starting this month. The English movie channel has shifted its prime time block to 10:30 pm with properties like ‘High Octane Nights‘, ‘Super Fridays‘, ‘After Dark - Halloween Special‘ and ‘The One Movie You Must Watch-Sorcerer?s Apprentice‘.
The earlier prime time on Zee Studio was at 9 pm and 11 pm.
As a part of the revamp, Zee Studio has customised these properties to gain viewership across the country in order to bestow extra dosage of entertainment. The new schedule brings together blockbusters and the aim is to hit the audience at the right time.
‘High Octane Nights‘ focuses on action oriented films. The line-up will have films like like ‘The Bourne Ultimatum‘, ‘The Incredible Hulk‘, ‘Alice in Wonderland‘, ‘Rambo First Blood : Part II‘ and ‘Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time‘.
‘Super Fridays‘ wil focus on movies like ‘Broke Back Mountain‘ and ‘Repo Men‘?‘After Dark‘ brings titles like ‘Psycho‘, ‘Van Helsing‘ and ‘The Sixth Sense‘.
Zee Studio has also strategised a marketing campaign to promote these properties. It encompasses multiple verticals like TV, OOH, social media platforms and BTL to enhance awareness. As a heavy push on online mediums, true view ads on YouTube, social media thrust through innovative applications and contests on Facebook and Twitter are designed . Zee Studio has sketched out a promotional TV campaign on and off the network.
