Mumbai: Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL), a leading utility service provider, was honoured with the prestigious platinum award for implementing the best practices in the field of occupational health, safety, and security. The award was given at the 13th Exceed Occupational Health, Safety, and Security Awards, organised by the Sustainable Development Foundation. This event brought together professionals from various industries to converse on important aspects of safety, security, risk management, and cyber safety to create a safety industry climate.

The discom’s mission is to ensure the safety of employees, the public, society, and the community. It has successfully set up comprehensive systems for safety, occupational health, environment & disaster management (SHE & DM), housing, and education.

Post going through exhaustive screening, Tata Power–DDL practices received this recognition. The award was presented to Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd.’s representatives by the minister of social welfare, river navigation, archives, and archaeology, the government of Goa Subhash Desai, during a coveted award ceremony. 

Tata Power-DDL has been consistent in improving its environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems to enable the protection of natural resources and eliminate/reduce occupational health hazards and safety risks.
