Mindshare adds Yakult India to its kitty

MUMBAI: Mindshare, the flagship media agency of GroupM has bagged the media mandate for Yakult Danone. Yakult, a probiotic drink was launched in India in 2007, and is presently available in Delhi, NCR, Nasik, Chandigarh, Punjab, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore. Mindshare will be handling the media planning and buying business for the brand.

 

Commenting on the development, Yakult Danone India managing director Minoru Shimada said, “While we have been expanding across geographies, India is an important market where we are actively building awareness and benefits about probiotics. Backed with a strategic approach and extensive expertise, I believe Mindshare is the best choice to handle our media planning and buying in India.”
