MUMBAI: Gurvindar Singh’s Anhey Ghorey Da Daan (Alms of the Blind Horse) will be screened in the Bright Future section of the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2012.

A Punjabi film, Anhey Ghorey Da Daan tries to evoke the effect of years of subordination of the socially repressed and exploited classes.

Produced by the National Film Development Corporation of India, Anhey Ghore Da Daan recently won the Special Jury Mention at the 5th Abu Dhabi Film Festival 2011.

The International Film Festival Rotterdam will be held from 25 January to 5 February.
