MUMBAI: Bhavna Talwar, known for her film Dharm and now under-production Happi, has roped in screenplay writer and director David S Ward to write the script of her film based on the life of Rajiv Gandhi.

The film is said to delve into the life of our ex-prime minister encompassing every aspect from his personal life to that of him as a political leader.

Looking at her busy schedule, Talwar has roped in screenplay writer and director David S Ward to write the script of the film. Not only that, the director wanted an outsider‘s perspective on Rajiv Gandhi. Ward will now spend the next year in Delhi tracking the life of the famous politician.

Confirming Ward’s appointment, Talwar said, “I know Ward‘s work, he possesses the sensitivity to pull it off effectively,” observed Talwar. “If I concentrated on writing the film, I‘d have no time for all the other vast preparations required to start it."
