MUMBAI: Eros International has signed a number of distribution deals around the globe including tie-ups with broadcasters and distributors in Myanmar, Japan and Romania.

To start with, the company has signed a 100-film deal with Family TV, the leading TV channel of Myanmar. In Japan, Eros has teamed up with Atrium Productions KFT, a local distributor, for the theatrical release of the Rajnikant-starrer Endhiran.
 
The company has also become the first Indian studio to launch a series of Bollywood films in the Romanian DVD market. The 30-movie package for this market will have Romanian subtitles. Among the package are blockbusters like Housefull, Anjaana Anjaani, Dabbang, Yuvraaj, Love Aaj Kal, Veer, OSO, Namaste London, KI, Cheeni Kum, No Problem, Devdas, Lage Raho and Munnabhai.

"Our ability to dub and subtitle Eros content into foreign languages allows us to directly appeal to both local audiences as well as the local Indian community," commented Eros International senior vice president of business development Kumar Ahuja.
