Hype fails to stir the BO for Aarakshan

MUMBAI: Aarakshan could not make the most of the long weekend with the Independence Day holiday on Monday appended; its opening weekend collections are a little over Rs 180 million. On Monday, despite a national holiday, the collections dropped all over.

I Am Kalam managed to collect a mere Rs 7.5 million in its first week.

Chala Mussadi Office Office could not cash in on its TV serial popularity and collected just Rs 15 million in its first week.

Singham has collected a decent Rs 125 million in its third week to take its three week tally to Rs 892 million.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara collected Rs 60 million in its fourth week to take its total to Rs 795 million.

After its five-week run, Murder has mopped up Rs 485 million.

Delhi Belly has netted Rs 553 million over six weeks.
