IFEA delegation in Hong Kong, attending Film & TV market

MUMBAI: A delegation of the Indian Film Exporters Association (IFEA), comprising Ganesh Jain (President), Hirachand Dand (VP), Sivkumar Damani, Rameshkumar Duggal, Ajay Suri, Nikhil Tanwani and Nandkumar Bele (Secretary General), is currently attending the Hong Kong Film and TV Market being held in the premises of the ongoing Hong Kong International Film Festival.

The Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) is being held from March 21 to 24. This is said to be one of the premium places for buying and selling films of different languages.

Members of IFEA will also meet the Consul General of India during their stay in Hong Kong.

It may be noted that the festival will screen Kim Longinotto‘s documentary Pink Saris, based on the gang of Sampat Pal Devi of Uttar Pradesh. Dev Benegal‘s film Samurai, a US-India co-production with Ross Katz, was selected but ultimately didn‘t find place in the final lineup.
