MUMBAI: These are the days of sequels. Just recently the makers of Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap and Delhi Belly announced sequels to their respective films. Now Vishesh Films has announced a sequel to Murder 2.

Producers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt have announced Murder 3 as their next project bypassing Raaz 2 that was originally planned to be taken up.

Said co-producer Mukesh Bhatt, "This is an original franchise owned by Vishesh Films and we are not going to let go of it. We are going head with Murder 3 and will soon be announcing the cast for the same. We hope to release the film by summer next year."

It may be remembered that some time ago, Mahesh Bhatt had declared that he wanted to make Murder a brand and would continue making a series of sequels.
