MUMBAI: Actor-choreographer-director Raghava Lawrence is all set to remake his Tamil film Kanchana in Hindi.

Going by Salman Khan’s penchant for remakes of popular South films, Lawrence recently approached Khan and showed him the promos of his film. Salman recently watched the trailers and promos of Kanchana and was thoroughly impressed.

 
"He (Salman) expressed his desire to act in the film’s Hindi remake for which talks are currently on. If everything goes well, I will direct the prolific actor for the Hindi version. An official announcement is due soon,” said Lawrence in a statement.

Produced by Sri Thenandal Films, the suspense thriller is set to hit the screens on 14 July. The movie has Sarath Kumar, Raghava Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai in lead roles
