MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One will release in October in nearly 3000 screens with over 2000 prints in circulation in the country.

Said Eros International chief creative officer Ram Mirchandani, "RA.One will easily be the biggest release of our times in terms of screens. The reason I am saying ‘screens‘ is because the number of prints will obviously be lesser compared to it."

 
When asked to give details Mirchandani quipped, "I can‘t give you the exact number of screens since we are months away from the film‘s release. But I can assure that it will definitely be more than 2,500 screens across the nation. In the overseas market too, we will be going all out. It is a Shah Rukh Khan film after all."

In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of screens allocated to ‘A’ class releases. Aamir Khan‘s 3 Idiots had set an earlier record in 2009 when it opened with 1,760 screens worldwide.
