MUMBAI: Sunil Bohra"s production house Bohra Bros Production, in association with Shailesh R Sing‘s Paramhans Creations, will distribute the Frieda Pinto-starrer Trishna in India this September.
The story of a tragic relationship between the son of a property developer and the daughter of an auto rickshaw owner, Trishna tells the story of a woman whose life is torn between love and circumstances.
It is based on Thomas Hardy"s novel titled "Tess of the d"Urbervilles‘. Directed by Michael Winterbottom, known for his film The Mighty Heart, the film also stars Riz Ahmed in a prominent role.
The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on 9 September.
