MUMBAI: Zee Studio?s film club, Shut Up and Watch (SAW) is all set to bring you the magic of the legendary Robert De Niro in the cult classic Raging Bull in its fifth nationwide series of free movie screenings for cinema buffs at Oxford Bookstore outlets across the 5 metros.

When Robert de Niro?s character Jake LaMotta steps into a boxing ring and obliterates his opponent, he‘s a prizefighter. But when he treats his family and friends the same way, he‘s a ticking time bomb, ready to go off at any moment. Though LaMotta wants his family‘s love, something always seems to come between them. Perhaps it‘s his violent bouts of paranoia and jealousy. This kind of rage helped make him a champ, but in real life, he winds up in the ring alone.

Zee Studio?s film club ?Shut Up and Watch? marked its beginning on 6th February at the Oxford Bookstore in Mumbai with an inaugural screening of the critically-acclaimed Paris Je T?aime, followed it up with a screening of the classic Madame Bovary on Women?s Day, the screening of Che Guevara‘s classic Motorcycle Diaries across Oxford Bookstore outlets in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai & Kolkata in May. In June, the film club took The Basketball Diaries featuring Leonardo Di Caprio across the country. July saw the cinema buffs relishing the old Clint Eastwood classic, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. And in August, actor-director Luke Kenny personally interacted with the audience at Zee studio?s screening of his directorial debut, 13th Floor.
