Turner appoints Amrish Sethi as creative director, original productions

MUMBAI: Turner has appointed Amrish Sethi, a veteran in the media and entertainment industry, as the creative director original productions.

The announcement was made by Turner International India Pvt. Ltd managing director Anshuman Misra.

Based out of Mumbai, Sethi will head the original production unit that has already developed and produced four local productions, namely Prime Pogo, Pogo Amazing Kids Awards, M.A.D and the recently launched game show, Bam! Bam! Bam! Gir Pade Hum.
 
 

Sethi will oversee all future and on-going India based productions for Turner. His key responsibilities include identification and commissioning of suitable third party formats and development of new original formats for Pogo, as well as supervision of all production personnel such as series producers, writers, art directors, music directors, talent, amongst others. For Pogo, Sethi will work closely with Turner director production and operations Elias Kazmi to strengthen the Network’s original productions.

Sethi has wide-ranging experience including radio, television, production, direction and scripting, having worked in the media and entertainment Industry for over a decade. Over the years, he has worked with several media companies including Zee Network, Channel [V] and TV-18. Prior to joining Turner, he worked with Radio City, where he was the national head of programming.
