DD gets ODI telecast rights; court case deferred

NEW DELHI: Even as a court case in the Delhi High Court relating to telecast rights got deferred today, the Indian cricket board in the interim has allowed pubcaster Prasar Bharati to air the forthcoming one-day cricket matches to be played by India against South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Keep tuned in as later in the day some more action is likely to take place with the Union Cabinet slated to discuss a legislation on mandatory content sharing with the pubcaster by private broadcasters and agencies, irrespective of the fact who holds the telecast rights.
