MUMBAI: The Embassy of Poland in association with film school Digital Academy has announced its two-day Polish film festival on 13 and 14 December at the Digital Academy premises in Andheri, Mumbai.

The festival will analyse the films of director Andrzej Wajda, who is regarded by the international critics as the quintessential Polish director with strong connection with the culture and history of Poland.

The festival will showcase four films - Promised Land (1975) and The Young Ladies of WILKO (1979) on 13 December and Man of Marble (1977) and Man of Iron (1981) on 14 December.

The films will start at 10:30 am on both days and will be preceded by a brief discussion on Polish culture and works of Wjada.

A company release requests patrons to call on phone number 2822-9944 and register their names with Digital Academy in advance, between 11 am and 5:30 pm.
