MUMBAI: Zee English will premiere the thriller series The Fugitive. The weekly action-adventure series launches on 27 October, and will air every Wednesday at 8 pm.
The show replacing reruns of the gangster flick Soprano's tells story of a man, who stays true to his profession irrespective of the circumstances.
The Fugitive deals with a doctor, wrongly accused for his wife's murder. He later on becomes a fugitive on the run for the Police, but a savior for many people throughout his journey to find the right culprit, says a company release.
The show that aired on CBS in early 2000 in the US is an action thriller produced by Arnold Kopelson, Anne Kopelson and stars Tim Daly, Mykelti Williamson, and Stephen Lang.
The Fugitive's basic premise is picked from a 1963-67 television series of the same name and the 1993 Harrison Ford film.
While it is establish right in the first episode that doc Kimble is innocent, that the real murderer is the one-armed man played by Lang), and that a relentless detective named Gerard (Williamson) is hot on his trail.
Speaking about the new launch Zee English business head Ajay Trigunayat said, "With the launch of The Fugitive, Zee English brings to its viewers more excitement this season.
