CANNES: Six television production companies from five French speaking countries in the South and five national television networks from African Francophone countries are promoting their offerings during MipTV from 11 to 15 April.

A total of 80 productions comprising features, short documentaries, series and cartoons will be featured at the stand set up by the Intergovernmental Agency of Francophone.

A "Special Day for the television of the South" will also be held on 12 April as also a special cultural show from the region.
