Glover, Neuwirth, Sigler, Wagner to host 33rd iEmmys

MUMBAI: International stars, Danny Glover, Bebe Neuwirth, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Vivica A Fox, Jack Wagner and Roger Bart are among the cast of presenters for the 33rd International Emmy Awards Gala, which is scheduled to take place on 21 November at the New York Hilton.

Returning as host for this years event, is, award-winning British comedian and talk show host,Graham Norton.

Presenters for this years event also include: Super Size Me director Morgan Spurlock, telenovela stars Gabriela Spanic and Saúl Lisazo, Olympic champion Nawal El Moutawakel and Chinese television-host Chen Xianon.

As is already known, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will present the Founders Award to Oprah Winfrey and Dame Helen Mirren will present the Directorate Award to British commercial broadcaster ITV.

"We are delighted that so many distinguished people are part of the International Emmy Awards. We look forward to a wonderful evening of celebration," said, Academy president and CEO and Hearst Entertainment president, Bruce Paisner.

This years sponsors include: Phoenix TV, Sun Media Investment Holdings, Microsoft, CBS Paramount International Television, NBC Universal, SAVVIS, Reed Midem, Sofitel Hotels, Ascent Media, and Variety. Chip Quigley, Kingdom Entertainment, will produce the show for the fifth year in a row.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is the largest organisation of global broadcasters, with members from nearly 70 countries and over 400 companies. The Academy was chartered in 1969 with a mission to honor and encourage excellence in television programming produced outside of the US by awarding the International Emmy Award in 11 categories.
