Turner launches action channel CNX in UK

TURNER

LONDON: Turner Broadcasting has recently launched CNX, a testosterone-fuelled, Action, Adventure and Anim channel in the UK.

The channel targets the 16-34 year old male audience, from diehard "actionheads" to men who just want some more adrenaline in their programming diet. CNX will offer a mix of movies, live action and animated programming.

Original productions will include a daily lifestyle show with expert presenters skilled in the art of gaming, movies, music, DVDs and generally having a good time, all broadcast from a classic, 30-foot, chrome Airstream trailer. The channel will also offer some of the greatest martial arts, thriller and horror films ever made and anim never before seen in the UK. The channel has been launched on Sky Digital.

CNX is operated by Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) Europe which delivers some of the world's most successful and well known news and entertainment brands - CNN, Cartoon Network, TCM (Turner Classic Movies) and Boomerang - across 50 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Turner Broadcasting System Limited is an AOL Time Warner Company.
