MUMBAI: Further to its aim of recognizing and rewarding Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), ET NOW this week on ‘IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow‘ will showcase stimulating stories of three such enterprises who with their vision and struggle have made a mark for themselves.

Pearl India International Inc
Started almost 2 decades ago by a 16 year old boy out of his pocket money in Jaipur, ‘Pearl India International Inc‘ today manufactures and exports silver jewellery to US, Europe, South Africa and Australia. Ravi Shankar found his calling in silver jewellery after a brief stint with garment and handicrafts and now today on an average, the company develops 50-100 new designs every week and retains the best 30 out of these.

Rishabh Instruments
Narendra Goliya after graduating from IIT-Mumbai and completing his post graduation from Stanford University decided to return home and set up his own business. Rishabh Instruments based out of Nashik, today has a recommendable position in the electronic instrumentation sector. Over the past 2 decades it has built upon its core competence of development, designing & manufacturing of testing equipments, measuring instruments and Industrial Control Products indigenously. Despite the downturn, Rishabh Instruments managed to post a turnover of 60 crore rupees last fiscal.

Youngman Woollen Mills
Young at heart and in their designs, but with a mature history behind them, the family-owned Youngman Woollen Mills of Ludhiana has been a trend-setter in the textile space since the early 50s. Nitesh Jagota a third generation entrepreneur has ensured that his grandfather‘s legacy has been brought forward to inspire the company to even greater heights. A nation-wide distribution network has enabled Youngman to garner almost 85 % of its 120 Crore revenues from the domestic market alone.

The series will culminate into a grand award ceremony to felicitate SME players who have made a remarkable presence in sectors like Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Infrastructure, and Auto with innovation and expertise by increasing productivity.

ET NOW and IndiaMART through this initiative salute the entrepreneurial spirit behind India‘s March to global stardom.
