MUMBAI: With the new TRAI tariff order (NTO) coming into the picture, DTH players have been on a roll in a bid to grab consumers’ attention by launching long-term recharge offers. Likewise, Tata Sky has also launched new packs starting at Rs 139.
The major DTH player is rolling out six new packs with effect from 23 April 2019. The pack consists of two sports channel packs and four regional channel packs for Gujarati and Odia.
The Sports pack is priced at Rs 139, followed by 13 channels while the Sports HD pack costs Rs 181 the same number of channels. Gujarati Lite and Gujarati Lite HD packs are priced at Rs 146 and Rs 239, which includes 66 and 68 channels respectively. Odia Lite and Odia Lite HD packs have 62 and 64 channels respectively priced at Rs 167 and Rs 262.
A few days ago, Tata Sky launched Lite packs which includes Hindi Smart Plan, Punjabi Smart plan, Gujarati Smart plan, Bengali Smart plan, Telugu Smart plan, Kannada Smart plan and Malayalam Smart plan for Rs 249 each. Bengali Smart plan, Odiya smart plan and Marathi smart plan are priced at Rs 220, Rs 211 and Rs 206 respectively.
