HUL top advertiser, Lizol top brand in BARC week 18 rankings

MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 27 April 2019 and 03 May 2019.

The data reflects top 10 advertiser and brands across genre on Indian television, including OOH screen, (U+R): 2+, Individuals NCCS All, demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 18 of 2019.

Top Advertisers:

The week 18 of 2019 did not see much change in the top advertiser category with Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd, and ITC still holding strong to the top 3 positions like several past weeks. They made 137003, 107184, and 39150 ad insertions, respectively.

Marico became the new entrant to the list, taking up fourth position with 23844 insertions. The fifth spot was attained by Wipro Ltd with 21093 insertions.

Top Brands:

Lizol replaced Lalitha Jewellery from the top brand spot, after the latter held on to it for past three weeks, with 14699 insertions. Lalitha Jewellery came in second with 14231 insertions. Harpic entered the list on third spot with 12948 ad insertions on TV in week 18 of 2019.

The fourth and fifth spot were held by Harpic 10/10 and Santoor Sandal and Turmeric, respectively with 12233 and 10777 insertions respectively.
