Star Gold has lined up some goodies for this festive season. The month of November begins with the birthday celebrations of super hero Shah Rukh Khan on 2 November in Jabardast Janamdin, where Star Gold celebrates star birthdays in Bollywood istyle.
On 2 November, viewers can SMS birthday wishes on 7827 to Shah Rukh Khan which will be scrolled throughout the day on the channel. While the channel will also air an exclusive interview with the star at 8 PM on 2 November, says a company release.
But the main Diwali attraction has to be the world satellite premiere of multi-starrer action flick, Lakeer—Forbidden Lines on 14 November 12 PM The flick that debuted on box-office early this year, stars likes of Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, John Abraham, and Sohail Khan.
As for the loyal followers of the Hollywood in Hindi band, the channel has lined up children special blockbusters line up. The channel will air Jurassic Park 3 on 7 November at 8 PM, ET – The Extra Terrestrial on 14 November at 8 PM, Home Alone on 28 November 8 PM and Ice Age.
While for the Ek Baje Ek Break Slot, every Monday to Friday 1 PM, the channel has lined up two-week Diwali Holiday Special comedy line up. Jumpstarting the comedies line up is Starting on Salman-Karisma's Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge on 8 November, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan & Akshay Khanna’s Dil Chahta Hai on 9 November, Jackie Shroff’s Baap Numbri, Beta Dus Numbri on 10 November, Govinda-Karishma's Hero No. 1 on 11 November and Salman-Kajol’s Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya on 12 November.
On Special Gold the channel will feature movies starring Jackie Chan like Winners and Sinners on 6 November at 8 PM, Twin Dragons 20 November 8 PM, Police Story 3 and City Hunter.
As for the Bollywood special, Star's classic Hindi movie channel will air Bollywood Action Awards, an awards ceremony will be held to felicitate the most dangerous and mind blowing action stunts ever seen on Hindi cinema.
In keeping with the action awards theme, the channel has lined up a action blockbuster line up Monday to Friday at 4 PM The line up includes films like Aamir Khan-Naseeruddin Shah’s Sarfarosh, Bobby Deol-Rani Mukerji’s Badal, Sunny Deol-Akshay Khanna-Suniel Shetty-Jackie Shroff’s Border, and Sanjay Dutt-Mahima Choudhary’s Kurukshetra, the release.
