ESPN Star Sports has been actively promoting F1 in India. Tamil Nadu has historically had a very strong Formula One following and Narain Karthikeyan's entry into the sport has provided further fillip to F1's popularity in the region.
For the benefit of F1 fans of Tamil Nadu, ESPN Star Sports has added commentary in Tamil on its F1 telecast in Tamil Nadu. All the remaining races of Formula One World Championship 2005 will have Tamil audio feed as well as the regular English audio feed in Tamil Nadu.
This is a part of special initiative by ESPN STAR Sports to promote Formula One in Tamil Nadu.
