MUMBAI: PIX presents the ?Resident Evil Trilogy?- a franchise inspired by the multi-million dollar-selling video game developed by Osaka-based Japanese developer and publisher Capcom known for creating the first Resident Evil and the T-virus which has been passed on from ‘Apocalypse‘ in the second part, to ‘Extinction‘ in the third.

?Resident Evil? opens with a virus that escapes in a secret facility called "The Hive," turning the staff into hungry zombies and releasing the mutated Lab ?Animals? that they were studying. The parent corporation sends in an elite military unit, where they meet Alice, played by Milla Jovovich, the primary protagonist who is suffering from amnesia due to exposure to nerve gas. The military team has a task of shutting down the computer fighting their way past zombies, and the computer itself before the virus escapes and infects the rest of the world.

?Resident Evil: Apocalypse? the second installment is directed by Alexander Witt, from a screenplay written by producer Paul W.S. Anderson. Alice escapes from the Umbrella facility and finds Raccoon City swarming with the ?undead?. The film focuses on her struggle, her attempt to escape the zombies along with the group of survivors and to find a way out of the city

?Resident Evil: Extinction? follows Alice and a group of survivors from Raccoon City and their fight to escape and survive the destruction caused by the Umbrella Corporation. The film was directed by Russell Mulcahy and produced by Paul W.S. Anderson. The primary protagonist Milla Jovovich as Alice has delivered an outstanding performance. The film offers the unique novelty of having Alice encounter one of her own clones.
