MUMBAI: With the recent release of IPSOS Ramadan ratings, Zee Aflam, the Bollywood movie channel in Arabic from the Zee stable, became No. 1 amongst its core TG, which is ?All females? with a 98% growth in terms of reach and a 41% growth in viewership over last year?s Ramadan period for the market of KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

During Ramadan, this year, Zee Aflam garnered 39% share of the viewership pie.

The Ramadan period is the holy month of fasting and dawn-to-dusk abstinence, a key period in the Muslim calendar. Some of the properties, which were specially launched on Zee Aflam for Ramadan and performed very well during this period were CLASIKIYAAT BOLLYWOOD (Golden Classics of Bollywood), Aflam Al Aamaliqah (movies of Great actors), AA ILAT BOLLYWOOD ? THE DEOLS, and One Star Two Movies back2back.

Zee Aflam is an Arabic Bollywood channel, for the local audiences in the Middle East region, keeping in mind their taste and preferences, the rules and regulations of the country and the sensibilities of the people.
