Mumbai: ‘Gretel & Hansel’, a nightmarish coming of age film released in 2020, will make its television premiere on Movies Now and MNX. The film will air on 8 August, at 1 pm and 9 pm.

Directed by Oz Perkins and produced by Fred Berger and starring Alice Krige, Sophia Lillis, and Sam Leakey among others, the film is an adaptation of the German folklore tale ‘Hansel and Gretel’ by the Brothers Grimm.

A story about truly finding oneself and acknowledging the light and dark within, ‘Gretel and Hansel' is an intriguing representation of the classic German tale.
