MUMBAI: HomeShop18, India?s favorite 24 hour home shopping channel celebrated Diwali with a bang this year by launching its popular one of a kind nationwide promotion ?Diwali Dhamaal?. During the festive season, not only did India?s favorite shopping destination witness record sales figures but also lead the TAM charts scoring better than some of the popular lifestyle TV channels.

With the Diwali Dhamaal a huge success, HomeShop18?s sales soared with 45% growth month on month.

India?s first and number one Home Shopping Channel continued to lead from the front, scoring 1.13 GRP?s (Source: TAM Week 42, TG: CS 4+, Markets: All India). While customers shopped from all parts of the country, an increased visibility was seen from tier II markets with PAN India reach of 85.5 mn/week (Source: TAM Week 42, TG: CS 4+, Markets: All India). The channel saw an overwhelming response from its customers as the contact centre received 1.2 million calls during the promotion period with repeat customers growing to over 35%.

The complete Hostellers this festive season were Non Stick Cookware from Crystal, Anjali, Everwel and Demonte Dinner Sets, Microwaves from Whirlpool and Godrej, Mobiles, DVD Players, Cameras and Camcorders from Olympus, Samsung, and Kodak. This Diwali HomeShop18 also launched new products and brands. Among the new products that Homeshop18 launched were HappyCall Kitchenware a Brand from Korea, Sanjeev Kapoor?s electric Tandoor and new range of Apparels both from Men and Women from brands like Reebok, Lee, Levi?s, Biba, Anaya Sarees etc.

During the festive season of Diwali, HomeShop18 took the celebrations a step further by giving a super bonanza to the customers - The chance to win bumper draws each week during the promotion period from October 8 ?
