MUMBAI: Twitter, which is in the process of raising huge financing, is looking at a valuation of the company at a whopping $4 billion.
 
Among the bidders, Venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins has submitted a lucrative investment offer that exceeds an offer of Russian firm DST that would have valued Twitter at about $3 billion.

The valuation would make Twitter worth four times that of entertainment-based companies like Lionsgate, TiVo and World Wrestling Entertainment. 
 
It also demonstrates an astounding growth for a company that was founded less than five years ago. In early 2009, Twitter raised $35 million at a reported $250 million valuation.
