MUMBAI: India?s biggest corporate honchos and thought leaders gathered together
at an exclusive event held by Forbes India for the unveiling of its Year-End Special issue. The event was
centered around an engaging discussion with leaders across spheres on a novel topic of discussion: ?The
advice that stayed with me?

This thought provoking and insightful conversation dwelt on the importance of mentoring and guidance,
to remain relevant and competitive in an increasingly complex environment. Whether it?s coming to teams
with disruptive change, or helping top performers move to the next level or simply managing growth, the
participants agreed that mentoring plays an increasing role in building strong & lasting institutions.
The evening was graced by interesting combinations of mentors and those whom they?ve mentored
featuring Mr. K. V. Kamath (Non-Executive Chairman ICICI Bank), Ms. Chanda Kochhar (MD & CEO ICICI
Bank) & K Ramkumar (Executive Director, ICICI Bank)

Other interesting participants included:
? Raman Roy (Chairman and MD, Quattro BPO Solutions) - Mr. Deep Kalra (CEO, Makemytrip.com)
? Michael Ferreira (Billiards Champion) - Aditya Mehta
? Coach Stanislav Lapidus - Ace shooter Gagan Narang
? Olympic bronze medalist Vijendar Singh
The event was anchored by Senthil Chengalvarayan, President and Editorial Director, Network18.

Speaking about this initiative, Indrajit Gupta, Editor, Forbes India said ?Through this initiative, we?d like
to celebrate the incredible achievements of all those who grace our Forbes India Person of the year
shortlist. We‘ve explored the concept of mentoring that helped each of these high achievers excel in their
discipline. Through events, such as the one in New Delhi this evening, we‘ve tried to make our stories
truly come alive by creating a platform where India?s biggest leaders interact and share learnings directly
with the readers of Forbes India.?
