Mumbai: Nitish Sharma has recently been appointed as the business head for the Hindi Entertainment Channel (GEC) at Sun TV Network. Before joining Sun TV, Sharma spent over three years at ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, where he held the positions of chief channel officer and business head for Zee Anmol and Big Magic. His tenure at ZEE began in 2021 when he took on the role of business head for Big Magic.

Sharma's career also includes notable positions at Star Sports, Aditya Birla Group, and Sony Pictures Networks India. In his new role at Sun TV Network, Sharma will report directly to Aparna Bhonsle, who joined the company in June.
