MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television Asia (Set Asia) has been launched in Washington, DC and City of Philadelphia.

The channel has also been launched in the District of Columbia, Loudoun County in Virginia, and Frederick, Montgomery and Prince George‘s Counties in Maryland. In addition, it is now available on Comcast throughout its Colorado service area.
 
“Our research has demonstrated that there has been a tremendous demand for the programming content of Set Asia in the launch region and this partnership with Comcast provides us with the perfect platform to meet the growing expectations of Set Asia viewer’s across this area,” said Set VP international business and head of North America Jaideep Janakiram. 
 
The channel airs dramas, movies, reality shows, comedies, soaps, talk shows and game show. Some of the popular shows include Kaun Banega Crorepati, Indian Idol, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Maa Exchange.
