Right from talent hunts and game shows to new sit-coms and brand new seasons of Disney favorites, it will be an entertaining summer for kids and families.?
To start off all the summer fun, Disney Channel premiered its first ever Indian family comedy show, Best of Luck Nikki on April 3, 2011. The story follows the hilarious trials and tribulations of the Singh household as they deal with the newest entrant to their family, baby Nikki. The show is set to air every Sunday at 11am.
Also, this summer Disney Channel?s Art Attack host, Gaurav, is back on air with new episodes of your favorite on-air art and craft workshop to make your summer exciting, creative and super fun! Gaurav shows you how to make simple, beautiful and useful art to battle that demon of boredom looming around the corner! Gaurav believes that anyone can be an artist so, with a little help from him and a few knick knacks from around the house, get ready to discover the artist in you!
Wondering in what new inventive way Phineas and Ferb are set to entertain you this summer? It?s a surprise you?ll love! Combining a dash of fun, a dose of mystery and barrels of summer sun, Phineas and Ferb have invented an awesome contest to get you thrilled and keep you hooked on to Disney Channel. Lucky entrants stand to win an unbelievable trip to Orlando to meet Phineas and Ferb in person! Not only that, you could also win exclusive Phineas and Ferb merchandise! All you have to do is tune in to Disney Channel, look out for Phineas and Ferb and tell us what they?re doing when you see them. A brand new Disney original animation show ?Fish Hooks?, featuring the voice of Saloni, the incredibly talented young comic star, will also premier on April 23 at 11 am. (Saturday 11 am, Sunday 9.30 am). The story follows Milo, Oscar and Bea, three friends and neighbours who attend Freshwater High, a school submerged in a giant fish tank in the center of a local pet store. Together, they experience the typical challenges and triumphs of tween life ranging from friendship, dating and sports, along with more atypical teen issues like giant lobster attacks and school field trips to the hamster cages.
Disney Channel viewers will also get to witness a power-packed, entertaining new game show ? ?Mai Ka Laal?, Disney Channel?s original production. The show will be hosted by popular actor and comedian, Javed Jaffrey. There is loads of fun and amusement to look forward to as parents prove how well they know their kid to win an all expense paid trip for their family to Disneyland!
After receiving an overwhelming response from kids across India, lucky participants of Disney Channel?s nation-wide talent hunt Disney Channel Shooting Stars will be seen starring in the channel?s promo campaign showcasing the fun and entertainment all through summer.
